Are you keen to work on IoT products and learn about the increasingly popular InsurTech sector?

If so, you need to come speak with this company in London, within walking distance from Kings Cross.

You’ll be working for a start-up with a difference – one of the differences being that they are part of a large corporate.

The main benefit of this is that they have all the advantages of a corporate company, namely strong infrastructure, tools, finances and knowledge, as well as all the advantages of a start-up – flexibility, speed of process and autonomy.

There are 50 people in this business, with just over 50% of the employees in the development team – this is a technology led company, where you will have great opportunity for progression.

As a Backend Developer, you’ll be taking a big part in developing and scaling the software platform that’s growing at a rapid pace – it’s built using a variety of technologies including C++, PHP, NodeJS, Javascript, MySQL, MongoDB, Azure and AWS.

They don’t expect you to be the finished article, as long as you have circa 1-3 years’ experience as a developer, with expertise in C++, they will want to speak with you. Any knowledge you have of PHP, NodeJS, Javascript, MySQL, MongoDB, Azure and AWS is a bonus, but they are happy to train you on areas you don’t know.

The salary is between £40,000 to £50,000 + 25 days holiday, 10% bonus, 6% pension and a raft of other benefits.

Please call me, Reuben Jenkins, on 0203 397 4565 or email me – reubenj @ consortia.com – even if you don’t have a CV yet, lets have a conversation.
