Data Engineer – Environmental Technology Start-Up – Fully Remote

We have partnered with an innovative, London based start-up in their search for a Data Engineer. This Data Engineer will play a pivotal role in the Data Engineering and Data Science team, helping them on their mission to develop environmentally-focused data products using the latest technology!

What you’ll do as a Data Engineer:

• Play a decisive role in building out the data function whilst implementing best practice principles across Data and Software.
• Develop the Cloud-Based architecture to support the cornerstone of all data.
• Develop, build and deploy data products that impact lives across the globe.
• Work collaboratively with internal (data scientists, analysts, product managers, software engineers, and developers) and external stakeholders to ensure the best products.

What you’ll need as a Data Engineer:

• Strong commercial experience with Python.
• Experience working on cloud-based data products – preferably AWS.
• Practical experience dealing with structured and unstructured data.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with DevOps – Docker & Kubernetes
