• Up to £65,000, dependant on experience
• Hybrid working set-up, required in the London office twice a week.

Are you a Data Engineer looking to further your career in Data with an established sports analytics company looking to expand their team?

Involved with analytics across multiple sports disciplines, my client is looking to develop their team further by introducing new Data Engineers to a new arm of the business to streamline their data. As a fast-growing start-up, you will benefit from being part of a very agile business where you will be able to make and impact decisions.

You will be part of a successful team responsible for tracking live data with the aim of providing real-time statistics whilst also being able to build the database and the ETL pipelines for the business. In addition, you will be expected to collaborate with the data science team to increase insight efficiency.

Key skills required:

• Real-time Data experience e.g. Apache Kafka, Amazon Kinesis
• Experience working with a Cloud Platform Solution (GCP, AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
• AWS data services
• Knowledge of scripting languages e.g., Python
• Familiarity with working with complex relational databases.
• Experience with data warehousing would be beneficial.

Highly desirable:

• Experience with Flask or a similar framework
• Familiarity with pipeline management platforms e.g., Airflow
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
