Are you an Applications Support Engineer looking for your next contract opportunity?

We have an initial three month contract position working for an innovative FinTech company for a technically savvy candidate. Based in West London, You’ll be the go-to technical expert for their client base proving them with support for eCommerce applications.

The responsibilities –

  • Onboarding new clients and supporting existing ones by understanding their requirements and answering technical questions
  • Investigating and managing support issues through to resolution
  • Ensuring ticket systems are updated with issue status and next steps
  • Providing analytical support including investigation, configuration, testing and implementation
  • Managing system builds and releases, supporting database and application upgrades

 

The ‘must haves’ –

  • Demonstrated eCommerce experience in a similar role
  • An understanding of application development
  • Experience supporting and integrating applications such as shopping carts, webshop builders, booking systems and payment libraries
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Confident with a variety of software packages

 

The desirables –

  • Experience using PHP
  • Basic .NET coding abilities, i.e. bug fixes, simple code changes
  • Experience using eCommerce platforms i.e. MagentO
