Automation Engineer

Automation Engineer (Hybrid) - NEED TO BE UK BASED

Salary - £65,000 - £70,000 p/a

Ideally Edinburgh based also UK wide (NEED TO BE BASED IN UK)

We are currently looking to recruit an Automation Developer to join a multi billion dollar global Fintech company to join their montitoring team and help teams to develop their monitoring solutions, due to a significant piece of new business from one of their key customers. The company we are looking to hire for is rapidly expanding globally and is offering the opportunity for an incredible career with a massive upward trajectory.

This will be working in a team with the opportunity of progressing to senior level. This department enable YOU access to all of their systems, see everything and have acquaintance with all of their clients, instead of focussing in one specific area.

What technology they use:

• New Relic (Selenium tool for login journeys)
• PowerShell
• Splunk
• SQL
• Rundeck (Ansible integrations)
• API
• Jira

What you will need to have:

• Experience with automation tools such as .NET development products like: Terraform, Splunk, PagerDuty, Rundeck, API, Jira, selenium synthetic tools such as New Relic.
• Knowledge of Automation scripting in PowerShell an advantage.
• SQL experience/knowledge is useful
• A self-starter with great communication skills with the ability to self manage
