Job title: Infrastructure Team Lead

Location: Berlin or within one-day public transport reach to Berlin

Salary: €80 - €95k DOE

 

Consortia have partnered with a mobility business that has plans to be the leading SaaS platform used by public and private mobility operators. To ensure this vision is met, we are looking for an Infrastructure Team Lead to join the team.

 

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • You will manage a team of up to 3 engineers
  • Together with your team, you ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of our infrastructure
  • Together with your team, you will build integrations towards the vehicle fleet and their partners
  • Together with your team, you will build toolings making the life of the engineers easier
  • You will perform the teams’ technical product management
  • You own the strategy for implementing a consistent DevOps culture by following SRE principles

 

 

Skills you will need:

 

  • You have experience in leading, mentoring, and developing an engineering team
  • You love cloud-native infrastructure.
  • You have strong experience in a broad range of cloud technologies such as AWS ECS, Kinesis, Lambda, SQS/SNS, RDS/Postgres, DynamoDB, and the use of Infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)
  • Knowledge in web technologies (e.g. Java 11/Spring, Kotlin) for Integration of 3rd party systems and Developer Tooling (e.g. CI/CD, Monitoring & Alerting) is a strong plus
  • You have a decent understanding of technical product management and you are experienced in working in an agile environment
  • You are flexible, dynamic, hungry. You know young companies face challenges and change, you are ok with that. You not only seek out new challenges, but you love modern mobility concepts and the vision of a sustainable world
  • You feel comfortable working in a German spoken company. While the tech department is transitioning to an English spoken and international team, your German is at least on level B1/B2
