Infrastructure Engineer - London (Hybrid - Flexibility to work from home)

A global FinTech client of ours is looking for a couple of infrastructure engineers with some networking skills to join it’s team!

Are you a 3^rd Line infrastructure engineer with some networking skills and looking for an exciting challenge? Do you enjoy working on bleeding edge technology? Do you enjoy project-based work as well as BAU – 50:50 - Then this one is for you.

It’s not important whether you have 6 months or 6 years + 3^rd line experience, what is key is that you show a desire to support a high available platform and work across varied, enterprise technology – we are talking Petabytes!

The company’s moto – if there is a better technology, then we will use it… regardless of cost.

This role is technical in nature and is responsible for providing high quality and timely infrastructure support to ensure the availability, stability and performance of datacentres, platforms and corporate systems. 

• Windows and Linux Server management
• SAN and storage array management
• Very large VMware vSphere infrastructure
• Active Directory, O365 and On Prem Microsoft services
• Backup, Replication, HA and Recovery technologies
• Security Technologies, content filtering, privileged access
• HPE Server hardware
• VDI infrastructure estate
• Azure services
• EFT file and data transfer

Nice to Have:

• Cisco routing/switching
• Meraki wireless/switching
• Checkpoint firewalls
• Security tech (Qaulys or Splunk) - 'Nice to have' experience
