MESSAGING ENGINEER(s) X3 - Exclusive Greenfield project - FinTech

Either London, Birmingham, Newcastle, Bristol, Basingstoke or Edinburgh locations (Hybrid - Need to attend one of their offices 3-days per week) - Circa £45,000 - £65,000

A global FinTech client of ours is looking for a couple of infrastructure engineers with some networking skills to join it’s team!

Are you a Messaging engineer looking for an exciting challenge? Do you enjoy working on bleeding edge technology? - Then this one is for you.

This is a brand new role on a greenfield project within the Platform Infrastructure team. You will be an integral part of a team providing high quality and support to make sure the availability, stability and performance of their Messaging systems and support of the platform processes are working efficiently.

The ideal candidates will be working in close knit with the Infrastructure Engineers and Support analysts.

What you will need to have:

• Experience of designing and deploying Amazon MQ or Active MQ
• Experience with Kafka
• Good team player with the ability to work independently and able to take initiative, drive change and new technologies and methodologies.
• Experience of using EFT (ftp & sftp) site, directory, and user setup, including logical and technical access controls, certificate management and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Basic Biztalk platform support experience
• Nice to have - Knowledge of Swift messaging
