System Administrator – Harrow, West London
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

We are looking to hire a disciplined and self-starting Systems Administrator to join a newly constructed team and work within a fast-paced environment. They will be assigned to deliver professional support to users on a spectrum of IT issues including Windows 7-10, Microsoft Office suite and Office 365, Active Directory and various infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will need to have an open mind on the locations they work and will be required to be on call.
What you will be doing:
- An integral part of the IT team supporting all areas of the business
- Handling and observing all IT services to safeguard high availability, reliable performance and deployments of systems.
- Making sure that all production systems are running smoothly
- Helping the Head of IT in running IT projects and guaranteeing projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Ensuring accurate record of all work undertaken
- Making sure business stays within compliance of all software licenses
- Contributing to the enhancements of services offered by the team
- Train and mentor junior members of the team
What you will need:
- Cisco Networking (Switches & Firewalls)
- Experience of working on Virtualization technologies (VMware & Hyper-V)
- Experience of working on Cloud technologies (Office 365, AWS & Azure)
- Extensive knowledge in windows server and desktop operating systems
- Windows server roles – Active directory, DNS, DHCP and group policies
- Microsoft Teams
- Telephony systems
- Hunt groups
- Call Forwarding
- General troubleshooting
- Knowledge of server hardware and firmware upgrades (HP & Dell)
- SAN technologies (HP & Dell)
- Microsoft Exchange 2010,2013 and Exchange online
- Microsoft LAPS
- Microsoft MBAM
- Infrasecure
- ZScaler
- MAC IoS (iPhones & iPads)
Experience in the following are desirable:
- Project management experience with ability to see projects through to the end
- Adapt CRM
- Access Dimensions
- Microsoft NAV
- MAC OSx
- SCVMM (System Centre virtual Machine Manager)
- Have worked with Meraki Cisco products
- Networking QoS (quality of service)
- Knowledge of Linux (Suse) or UNIX systems would be an advantage
