Consortia are looking to hire a Contract Account Manager to join the contract team here in Bristol. Due to the success of our IT contract team this year, and having doubled in size, we are now in need of additional candidate and client support across the contract team.

Are you currently working in Recruitment, but had enough of cold calling and new business development, but still want to work in an ambitious, fun and lively recruitment environment?

  • Job Title: Contract Account Manager
  • Salary: £28k - £32k OTE £45K (bonus + commission)
    Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm
  • Location: Central Bristol, 5 mins from temple meads

The role includes many elements of recruitment, but not the cold calling to new clients! Candidate and Client relationship, service and administration are key, but the core responsibility is to ensure that candidates are being fully supported.

The role:

  • Regularly calling all contract candidates and line managers to make introductions and deal with any outstanding issues
  • Manage all contract extensions for candidate, liaising with both candidates and managers
  • Deal will any issues around changes in rates and extension contracts
  • Ascertain whether a potential replacement or backfill is needed, if candidate doesn’t extend
  • Build strong relationships with all contractors and clients, meeting with each one on a quarterly basis
  • Identify any business opportunities that could leverage off our existing clients
  • Work very closely with our finance and operations teams and understand Consortia best practices, adding value where possible where compliance and processes can be improved
  • Create an organised and thorough process for regular contact with candidates and clients

About you:

  • Ideally you will come from a background in recruitment and will have some understanding around contract recruitment
  • Have knowledge of the contract recruitment process
  • Be client facing
  • If not from a Recruitment background, you will have strong organisational skills and aren’t a stranger to the phone!
  • You will have strong interpersonal skills
