Do you fancy working within a challenging Startup environment?

How keen are you to develop your skills working with cutting edge tech such as AI and Machine Learning?

Is personal career growth a key motivator for you when seeking a new role?

If you like what you see so far, then keep reading..

I’m working with a Startup company based in Central London who are looking to scale their engineering team over the next 12-18 months and deliver critical projects to key clients within 6 months… so, a lot of hard work to be done!

Currently, The business has between 10-15 people, half of which is made up of the tech team. They want to double this by the end of the year and your role will also form part of this long term growth strategy.

The product is a SaaS based platform that’s based upon predictive analysis that utilizes machine learning and AI to provide relevant information derived from data which is then used to provide business value for their clients. This is all done in Real time.

On a day to day basis, you’ll be transforming tailored requests from clients with regards to feature development on the platform plus integrating this with the clients own internal database. The philosophy that the CTO has for this Lead role, is that whatever tech you’re interested in, they’ll be flexible enough to let you play around with it and if you see the benefit in implementing new stuff, then go ahead and do it! This encouragement to be creative forms the basis of their company culture and how they want to expand going forward.

Within 6 months, this role will grow further in terms of responsibility, and you will become the number 2 to the CTO which will see you take ownership of the DevOps and the Backend team, all of which, poses a great opportunity to gain more experience coaching, mentoring ad managing other developers as well as putting the necessary processes into place to establish and maintain a resourceful engineering culture.

Specifically, you’ll need to have 5+ years Java experiences plus strong proficiency in Linux. Knowing how to use and configure Jenkins or exposure to DevOps practices will also be helpful as well as a CPU Science Degree and knowledge of Web API’s.

In return, you’ll be paid up to £70k plus benefits and share options.
