Senior Software Engineer

We have partnered with a London-based AI Start-Up that are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their mission to drive safety into online communications.

The successful Senior Software Engineer will be tasked with helping to build their suite of software services that enable organisations to understand their online communities and most importantly protect them from online abuse.

Senior Software Engineer responsibilities also include working closely with the wider business, mentoring junior members, designing and creating new areas of functionality, growing relationships with senior members from client organisations as well as maintaining a high standard of work personally and across the team.

Software Engineer Requirements:

• At least 5 years of software development using Javascript, Typescript & Node.
• Experience with both OOP and FP software architecture
• Experience working with microservices architecture.
• Comfortable using Git alongside Docker.
• Effective working within an Agile environment.
• High level of soft skills, social intelligence and empathy are key.
• Experience in ElasticSearch, Kafka & GCP/AWS.

This Senior Software Engineer position will have a natural progression into a leadership role within the next 6 months, as the company goes through Series A and the following growth.
