Engineering Manager

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function with a really cool Fin-Tech in Central Berlin. This Fin-Tech is backed by a number of big, respectable investors and have recently received a massive amount of funding! Their mission for 2020 is to make the digital financial marketplace more transparent and efficient across Europe.

 

What we’re looking for?

You have experience in managing large teams within an agile environment

You have successfully built and scaled tech teams

You have a deep understanding of leadership and are passionate about the development of others

You have a strategic, goal-oriented way of working

You’ll have excellent communication skills and ideally have working competency in German and English

 

 

What you'll be doing?

You’ll represent the Engineering function and lead engineering managers and architects

You’ll hire future engineers and enable them to also become leaders through coaching and mentoring

You’ll identify the strengths and weaknesses within teams, an overcome them through further development

You’ll motivate engineering teams and establish effective working processes to ensure optimal strategies, techniques and user experience best practices

You’ll be responsible for formulating the overall engineering strategy

You’ll work with engineers to ensure sound decision processes and ensure objectives are met
