Head of Software Engineering

I have been retained by a client which is looking to identify it's next Head of Software Engineering to join and lead a product and user-centric software engineering team.

The Head of Software Engineering will report directly to the CTO and have dotted line responsibility to a team of 80. The team of 80 is responsible for developing a suite of sophisticated software applications and it is the Head of Software Engineering who will be responsible for delivering the product vision.

Working with a highly collaborative senior management team, the Head of Software Engineering will be comfortable delivering software projects in an Agile environment, and will continue to develop the companies Agile Software Development processes. You will scope out and understand core business needs and be responsible for implementing the most impactful solutions.

What will the Head of Software Engineering need:

• Prior experience leading complex software development lifecycle in an Agile environment
• Experience working in a product and user centered business
• Understanding of bridging legacy and new build environments
• Ability to manage onshore and nearshore resource
