The role is perfect for an experienced and versatile Senior Software engineer who will support the existing development team with maintenance and development of the Cloud Licensing Platform – involving c#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL, OAuth, HTML, CSS, cloud and other web development technologies.

The Senior Software engineer will need to be able to single handily manage all aspects of the development and maintenance, be that programming or SQL database administration etc.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Single handed debugging and fixing any part of the system (code, SQL etc)

· Ensure all coding meets the highest security and technical standards in regards to robustness, scalability and security

· Setup and configuration of IIS, SQL Server, c#, ASP. NET system

· Perform new development as and when required

· Produce test plans

· Test fixes and new features

· Maintain source control

· Keep documentation up to date and create new documentation as required

· Ensure coding standards are maintained

· Maintain IIS/SQL Server installation

 

Require Experience:

 

· Ability to setup, configure and deploy an IIS, SQL Server, c#, ASP. NET system from scratch

· 3+ years commercial development experience

· C# , VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery

· Integrating with cloud services

· OAuth

· Microsoft SQL (querying, design, triggers, stored procedures, indexes, backups)

· IIS Configuration / Maintenance

· Very clear communication in English language - spoken and written

· Ability to create and give presentations
