Senior Product Designer

Consortia are looking for a Senior Product Designer position for a very well-known client within the retail industry, giving the opportunity to work with some of the most cutting-edge talents in the industry. The work will be across multiple brands for both physical and digital, working from conception to completion. They are currently pushing the utilization of big data, machine learning, to improve the overall experience for the customer.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will identify customer needs and identify solutions and lead the creation of service blueprints to improve the customer experience both digitally and physically, including websites, apps, contact centres, and operations.

You will have experience working within a fast-paced environment and have the ability to hit the ground running, working with cross-functional teams. You will need to feel incredibly comfortable engaging with stakeholders and have the ability to explain your thought process and ideas. Our client is looking for the right Senior Product Designer to go on a journey through their transformation with them and be able to bring a wealth of knowledge from their previous role.

Here are some key requirements for the Senior Product Designer:

• Have an in-depth understanding and solid previous experience with Design Systems
• Have a deep understanding of user needs and pain points, understand design trends and evaluate existing design strategies  
• Have experience and proven track record of succeeding with usability testing
• Have great experience engaging and succeeding in explaining your process to stakeholders
• Be extremely comfortable in running workshops
• Have a strong portfolio that explains your thought process in great detail
• Previous work within a big brand is desirable but not necessary
