Senior Product Designer

Consortia are recruiting for an extremely passionate Senior Product Designer to work in a collaborative and equally passionate team with our fintech client. Its mission is to create fair and honest products and put the customer's needs at the forefront of everything they do.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll work within a cross-functional team that values their culture, you’ll be working with product managers, front-end and back-end engineers to outline requirements, develop iterative design options, and use your usability testing experience to get their products ready to launch and assure they meet the customer’s needs.

With a large existing customer base to work with our client is looking for the right Senior Product Designer to get stuck-in in innovative and complex product design. In return, you’ll be defining product design for one of the industry’s more innovative and forward-thinking companies.

As a company they are incredibly flexible with their working arrangements, ideally you’ll be able to come in once a week, but they want to have individual conversations about what works for you, your team, and your role.

Here are some of the key requirements for the Senior Product Designer:

• Someone who is truly passionate about product design
• Excited about the prospect of being part of a design community
• Be competent in research as this will be a core part of the role, at a minimum you should be comfortable with user testing and qualitative and quantitative research
• Experience with brand implementation within the product space
• Can design for the customer's needs
• Have experience engaging with stakeholders
• Experience using data to make design decisions
• Have experience using sketch

Here are some desirable (but not essential) skills:

• Experience managing or mentoring
• Previous experience working within the finance industry
