Are you a Head of Product,  excited by the opportunity to develop and embed a  new product management framework and capabilities? Are you able to ensure that the customer's voice drives product development, defining the product set and the value it brings?

You will be responsible for building a scalable product function so need to have experience of introducing product management to an organisation or been instrumental in its delivery, alternatively, you will have made fundamental changes in how product management operates within an organisation.

As part of the organisation’s Senior Management Group you will lead a team of product managers responsible for coordinating the end-to-end delivery of new and improved products, market analysis, strategic partnerships and ensuring products are successfully taken to market.

The business has already embarked on a large scale change programme having adopted a scaled agile approach within the technology team and the arrival of a new CTO in January has augmented the shift to a product-led development team to create products that meet customers needs, quickly and efficiently.

As Head of Product you will be responsible for;

  • overseeing the development and release of new and enhanced products
  • ensuring that there are robust business cases
  • clear product roadmaps and prioritised backlogs which are regularly iterated to meet changing needs,
  • effective go to market strategies (including proposition development, marketing propensity modelling, coordination of release management, demand planning, sales strategy)
  • post-launch feedback and analysis

The Head of Product will also manage the team that is responsible for coordinating the definition and development of the corporate strategy, and reporting on progress, in collaboration with the Board, Executive, and customers and stakeholders based on the development of scenarios and analysis of long-term trends, market intelligence, and customer and stakeholder insight.  This includes identifying and evaluating new markets and opportunities.
