Our market-leading Ed-Tech client is looking for a product director to drive forward product innovation and transform their digital product portfolio. With the rapid evolution of the educational landscape, competition is intensifying, and technology's role is growing exponentially. From online testing to cutting-edge initiatives like remote AI-driven testing, the stakes have never been higher. Yet, amidst these challenges, our client's brand remains a global powerhouse, presenting an unparalleled opportunity to harness its potential through innovative learning and assessment products.


As the Product Director, you will be at the forefront of this transformation. This role provides the freedom to innovate and welcomes fresh approaches and your leadership will be instrumental in guiding an expert Product Management team, focused on crafting the next generation of tests and products, while also enhancing existing offerings. This role places you in the heart of our client's leadership team, where you'll be pivotal in refining the product development operating model. Collaboration will be key, working closely with the wider team and leveraging resources from partner organisations to ensure top-tier product development and delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities include.

  • Spearheading product development initiatives, guaranteeing timely and efficient delivery.
  • Set the strategy with high-level product direction.
  • Ensure all products resonate with the broader strategy outlined by the business.
  • Champion product ownership, inspiring others with groundbreaking ideas.
  • Operate independently, showcasing resilience, determination, and patience:

 

Required experience.

  • While experience in the Edtech sector is a plus, it's more important that you've championed innovation, are familiar with cutting-edge technology, and can navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by advancements like AI.
  • Prior experience as a product director and a focus on product development and management is essential.
  • Experience of building out a product team and maturing a product function.
  • Demonstrated ability as a proactive individual capable of thriving in intricate settings.
  • Robust communication and persuasion abilities.
  • Open to both B2C and B2B product avenues.

 

Whilst the company operate a flexible way of working, travel to London and Cambridge for key meeting will be required.
