VP of Product

Consortia are working exclusively with a scaling start-up building products by developers, for developers. They are looking for an experienced VP Product to develop their cloud computing platform enables businesses across the globe to manage DevOps in a modern way, allowing developers to focus on bringing ideas to fruition. 

The VP of Product/ Vice President of Product Management will be leading a growing team of Product Managers, focussing on varying elements of the product. You will be instilling best practises, coaching and mentoring, driving execution and scaling the team moving forward.

Alongside leading the Product function, the VP Product will be working collaboratively with C-Suite in defining strategy and vision and translating this throughout the company. With engineering being a key stakeholder, due to the technical nature of the Product, the VP of Product will need to have a strong technical leaning in order to succeed.

Here are a few requirements for the VP of Product:

• Deep technical knowledge, software engineering background or Computer Science.
• You have shipped PaaS or SaaS Products.
• Understanding of B2B products, from individual users to Enterprise.
• You're a self servant leader who thrives mentoring and coaching Product teams.
• A firm believer in empowering teams through autonomy, The Marty Cagen approach.
• Extensive experience leading 5+ Product Managers.
• Bonus if you have worked with a geographically distributed team.

Interviews will be conducted via VC and with the company a fully remote business, this position will be fully remote in nature.
