Product Director

Are you an experienced Product Director, who works with data-heavy products? 

My client is on the hunt for its next Product Director, to come in and help shape the strategy for their new product, just launched to market. With the product still in its initial launch, you will need to have experience of the full product life cycle, and the skills to drive its future success. 

This product sits within the Maritime Shipping industry, so you must have experience working with products in this sector. Anything related to Vessles and Porting is ideal.

This Product uses real-time data, so a background in data analytics is a must. You will have demonstrated experience in overcoming obstacles and examples of your personal impact on the development of a product.

Being the most senior product employee in this department means you will have exceptional soft skills, being able to communicate across all departments and translate technical terms to c-suite level stakeholders.

Product Director key requirements:

• Strong technical skills and proven record of managing complex and technically challenging products
• Great Collaboration and Communication skills. Expert in finding alignment between various stakeholders: Commercial, Tech, Operations, Support
• Excellent analytical skills and data-informed approach
• Previous experience in greenfield projects, within the Maritime, shipping industry
