At Consortia, we have partnered with one of the most recognised software consultancy firms which have multiple Lead Product Manager roles at varying levels, dependant on the level of experience and working history of the individual. The company works alongside the government and the public sector to complete some of the most intricate and complex projects that are available. They are a leader within the digital transformation industry and can allow someone to progress themselves by working on a variety of different projects.  

As a Lead Product Manager, you will have control over the product you are working and will be reporting back to the Head of Product. For this role, you will need to have exceptional negotiation and communication skills, to effectively and efficiently be a point of contact for multiple teams. These will include developers and sales teams, to allow the client’s business to add maximum value and ensure the product is delivered to the highest

You must be commercially focussed, as you will also be responsible of driving the company's future growth by identifying innovative and profitable solutions that will result in additional opportunities. 

Here are some key requirements for the Product Manager:

  • Must have substantial Product Manager experience in a commercial environment with demonstrable success in consulting. 
  • Developed products from scratch and obsessed with improving and optimizing a product.
  • Experience of working with at a senior/board level and demonstrable evidence of building strong senior client relationships.
  • Proven track record in selling to external customers.
  • Negotiation skills, and not afraid to challenge customer's decision in a non-confrontational style.
  • Strong ability to manage and motivate people and lead by example.
  • Excellent communication, listening, written and verbal skills. 

This role can offer a fully remote position, although, our client is looking for someone who will flexible and can work away from home when needed, for up to two days a week.

An ideal candidate would have some experience as a business analyst and a relevant background in leadership within the product space, such as an experienced Product Owner or a Product Manager.
