Product Lead

Consortia are proud to offer a Product Lead opportunity at a well sought-after software consultancy, renowned for working on the biggest projects provided by the government and public sector. 

As a Product Lead, you will have control over the product you are working on and will be reporting back to the Head of Product. For this role, you will need to have exceptional negotiation and communication skills, to effectively and efficiently be a point of contact for multiple teams.

You must be commercially focused, as you will also be responsible for driving the company's future growth by identifying innovative and profitable solutions that will result in additional opportunities. 

Here are some key requirements for the Product Lead:

• Must have substantial Product Manager experience in a commercial environment with demonstrable success in consulting. 
• Developed products from scratch and obsessed with improving and optimizing a product.
• Must have previous experience as a BA.
• Proven track record in selling to external customers.
• Negotiation skills, and not afraid to challenge customer's decisions in a non-confrontational style.
• Strong ability to manage and motivate people and lead by example.

Working arrangement for the Product Lead:

• Location: Birmingham
• Job title: Product Lead
• Working style: 10% on-site/ 90% Remote (varies on client requirements)
• Salary: £80-100k
