Product Manager

Consortia are helping a consumer-focussed digitally native tech start-up by finding a Product Manager to lead the development of their globally accessible mobile product. Their product is used in over 180 countries worldwide and the Product Manager will be taking ownership of serving their ever-expanding user base.

Having recently been named as one of the fastest-growing companies to watch 2021, it's an exciting time to join a Product team laying the foundations for their next stage of growth.

The Product Manager will report to the Principal Product Manager based in London, with wider exposure to working with their CPO in the US. Their Product team have been involved with some of the most successful Fintech start-ups globally, names including Paypal, Curve, Monese and Grab.

As the Product Manager in this team, you can expect autonomy and accountability in driving the product forwards, working closely with UI/ UX and leveraging your understanding of interaction design, UX and usability.

Here are some key requirements for the Product Manager:

• Must have extensive experience shipping high scale, consumer-facing mobile apps.
• An understanding of the ecosystem around consumer apps with large user bases.
• Start-up/ scale-up experience is essential, things are moving quickly.
• Developed products from scratch and obsessed with improving and optimizing a product.
• Deep understanding of user needs, you should be customer-obsessed and be able to demonstrate this.

This role is a fully remote position to start with some travel into their London Hub once offices re-open. Interviewing taking place via video conferencing and can move fast:

○ Step 1: 45 min initial chat with their Principal Product Manager.
○ Step 2: 45 min interview with their CPO.
○ Step 3: Final stage interview with our Exec. team and Principal PM.
