Consortia has been retained by a high-growth, VC-backed developer infrastructure company building next-generation tooling for engineers working in distributed systems and applied cryptography.

Their mission is to make cutting-edge, deeply technical capabilities usable and accessible for real-world developers from indie engineers to enterprise-scale teams.

With a globally distributed team across Zurich, Paris, and Dubai, the company is now preparing for public launch. Backed by a standout engineering and research team and strong funding runway, they’re hiring their first dedicated Product Marketing Manager to shape how the product is positioned, explained, and adopted by the developer community.

This is a rare opportunity to join at a foundational stage with full ownership of the messaging, go-to-market, and brand story.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define and own the product narrative and messaging, building developer engagement from the ground up
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, DevRel, and founders to translate complex technical innovations into developer-focused use cases
  • Launch the product and ecosystem with content that drives adoption – from technical blog posts to onboarding flows and tutorial materials
  • Shape and execute campaigns across awareness, onboarding, and community
  • Operate with full autonomy – you’ll set the strategy, but also execute on the work: writing, editing, and iterating directly

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • 3 - 7 years in product marketing with a focus on developer tools, dev platforms, or complex SaaS used by engineering teams
  • Experience launching or scaling products in a fast-paced or early-stage environment
  • Proven ability to build go-to-market strategy and craft compelling messaging for technical audiences
  • Comfort working hands-on with highly technical founders and SMEs to uncover product value
  • A passion for making deep tech understandable, useful, and engaging for builders

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in developer-first companies such as Netlify, Vercel, Stripe, or similar
  • Familiarity with product-led growth or DevRel collaboration models
  • Exposure to early-stage scale-up environments

Why This Product Marketing Manager Role?

  • Founding ownership – build the product marketing function from scratch
  • High technical bar – collaborate with a world-class team solving meaningful engineering problems
  • Impact – directly influence launch, adoption, and the broader developer ecosystem
  • Compensation – base salary circa $160,000–$200,000 (depending on experience), plus equity and token participation
  • Remote-first culture – Europe-based candidates are encouraged to apply with flexible travel for team time

You don’t need to be from a crypto or Web3 background – what matters is the ability to tell technical stories with clarity, purpose, and creativity. If you’ve launched something that developers actually use and you loved every minute of it, this role is worth a conversation.
