Documentation Manager - Flexibility to work from Home

Salary - £50,000 - £60,000

A Technical Author is needed for a leading Fintech company that is rapidly expanding globally and offering an opportunity for an incredible career with a massive upward trajectory.

About the role:

The team you will be joining creates and maintains online assistance for their products. The online assistance is used by their clients and colleagues to understand, configure and use their software. As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for creating, updating and reviewing online help articles, ensuring that our users can access helpful, up-to-date information quickly and easily.

What you will be doing:

  • Creating and schedule documentation tasks for multiple products
  • Assigning tasks to team members according to their specialisations and workload
  • Managing and track tasks to ensure all product publication deadlines are met
  • Project managing new documentation projects
  • Generating management information reports
  • Working with project teams to ensure all documentation tasks are captured and demos/supporting information are provided
  • Working with product owners/subject matter experts to ensure handovers and reviews are carried out in a timely manner
  • Working with project stakeholders to ensure documentation projects deliver successful outcomes on time

What you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2 years working in a Project management role
  • Experience of managing multiple projects/deliverables with different processes and deadlines
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to quality, attention to detail and a thorough and conscientious approach to work
