Head of Engineering

Consortia have recently partnered with a well-backed start-up in the heart of Berlin who is looking for Head of Engineering, who is able to lead a team of developers and empower them to further grow. Working for a tech-focused platform you will take on the below responsibilities

• Help build out the future architecture that allows them to scale
• Bring in your own ideas and help scale the team
• Set the tech KPIs and define technical roadmap
• Work closely with the Heads of departments within the product and design teams
• Train team leads and support them to grow into a leadership role
• Make sure we have an exceptional onboarding strategy for new team members and a roadmap for every new team member
• Set out the vision with our VP of Engineering to build an exceptional tech team

• Experienced as a technical leader for at least 2 years 
• Experienced with Ruby and JavaScript frameworks. Elixir is a plus! 
• Proven track record in building and scaling technical architectures
• Experience in managing medium-sized teams and mentoring engineers
• Experienced in running agile engineering teams
