Lead Ruby Developer

A top Digital Agency in London, are currently looking for a lead Ruby developer to help create solid scalable products for their clients. Typically taking on projects with a positive impact on society, they focus innovation to find smart solutions to their clients’ needs.

A successful Ruby developer will:

• Attend client meetings and communicate on technical aspects of the project
• Train and mentor team members
• Help improve automation of the software development process
• Identify performance issues and bugs
• Conduct code reviews and give constructive feedback
• Work with UX designers and FE developers creating user-friendly web app interfaces
• Be able to work remotely up to 3 days per week

A Ruby developer considered will have:

• Great Knowledge of Ruby on Rails applications
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL datastores
• The ability to work on multiple projects
• Supported live applications in production
• An interest to learn new technologies
• The ability to identify/fix bugs in other peoples code

They are located in central London (zone 1) and the nearest underground station is minutes away. The Salary is up to £80,000 and benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Medical insurance, a free bar and a roof terrace.
