A FinTech startup is in the market for a Ruby Developer to join their small team in central London (remote working opportunity). Their mission is to improve financial stability across the UK since almost half of the population have less than £100 in savings. They’re looking for someone to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team in delivering high-quality software on their event-driven tech stack using Ruby on Rails.

Responsibilities will a successful Ruby Developer:

• Offer recommendations on best tools to get the job done
• Collaborate with the team in making data-driven decisions
• Contribute to the company architecture building on top of their Event Sourced System
• Drive new products to the digital platform
• Maximise efficiency aligning with the company growth targets
• Optimize the companies modelling pipeline

A considered Ruby Developer will have:

• The ability to guarantee the quality of what you build

• Your own trusted set of open source tools
• A pragmatic approach to software development
• Solid knowledge of using AWS

The role is fully remote however the company’s offices are in central London. They’re offering a salary up to £70,000 as well as a benefits package including a £1,500 training budget to spend on your own learning development.
