Support Engineer

SUPPORT ENGINEER WANTED (Need to have 2 years' experience with Messaging platforms) - London or Edinburgh based - £45,000 - £50,000

Required in office 5-days per week.

A global FinTech client of ours is looking for a couple of Support engineers to join a BRAND NEW team!

Are you a Support engineer with Messaging experience and looking for an exciting challenge? Do you enjoy working on bleeding edge technology? - Then this one is for you.

This is a brand new role working deploying various application systems within the Platform Infrastructure team. You will be an integral part of a team providing high quality and support to make sure the availability, stability and performance of their Messaging systems and platform processes are running smoothly.

The ideal candidates will be working in close knit with the Senior Messaging Engineer and other Application support engineers.

What you will need to have:

• 2nd/3rd Line Support experience building & deploying applications
• Experience of designing and deploying IBM MQ or other Messaging platforms (.i.e. RabbitMQ)
• Good team player with the ability to work independently and able to take initiative, drive change and new technologies and methodologies.
• Any exposure with EFT (ftp & sftp) site, directory, and user setup, including logical and technical access controls, certificate management and connectivity troubleshooting.
