A Senior Service Designer is needed to join an established design team for one of the Country’s most loved brands in Retail. As the Senior Service Designer, you will work within the consumer focused market dealing with everything from AI, Machine Learning, E-commerce, EPOS, touch screen displays to mobile applications.

You will join an established and growing team working with the Head of UX, where they are creating a user experience lab to develop a state-of-the-art operating system, CRM, mobile apps, the physical experience in their stores and ways to make the delivery “slicker”.

Location: Central London

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

Benefits: 20% bonus, dental / health care, pension, flexi-working / working from home

The Senior Service Designer will need to:

  • Take ownership of projects and products
  • Run ideation workshops, create user journey maps and service blueprints to get a shared understanding.
  • Research then produce wireframes and prototypes
  • Base their work heavily around a UCD approach in an agile environment
  • Identify pain points and methodically solve them
  • Work end-to-end planning, designing and building a mobile operating system to support their products

The Senior Service Designer must:

  • Have worked in an Agile environment and managed teams
  • A degree in user experience design, design, computer science or a related field
  • Experience in sketching, wireframing, and prototyping.
