An Interaction Designer is required by a government department to design complex user interfaces for products used by millions of people. This is an initial 6-month contract, however, due to internal demand for interaction design, there is a high likelihood of further extensions.
Working as part of an established user experience design function the UX designer will work with a lot of autonomy in a collaborative agile environment.
For these Interaction Designer contracts, GDS Experience is essential, and my client is paying between £500 and £600 per day inside IR35.
Working closely with user researchers and the software development team, we are looking for a contract Interaction Designer to create design concepts for digital services, working under high-pressure deadlines and collaborating with other teams to deliver these concepts.
• Experience in interface design
• Working experience in building in-browser prototypes
• Ability to design web/mobile applications
