Principal UX Designer

An automation platform is looking for their first Principle UX Designer, you will join the Design team responsible for shaping how their customers and users program the platform!

This is an individual contributor role, with the intention of leading the UX design of the software product in collaboration with larger teams as the company grows. You must be able to persuade your team, colleagues, and stakeholders to use user-centric design that is supported by data and research insights.

As the team's first Principle UX Designer, you'll be the design voice, ensuring that their software products are easy to use. Your work will have a direct impact on how users interact with the platform.

The Principal UX Designer will work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in an agile, collaborative environment -

• Conduct research and shadow customers using the platform, to gain insight into pain points
• Design workflows and wireframes to define how users interact with the platform
• Run usability tests to gain user feedback during the design process and development
• Experience working across complex problems and problem-solving
• Hands-on experience designing software solutions
