We have been given the opportunity to find a Lead Product Designer for a well-known e-commerce company, our client is currently a small team who is rapidly growing, meaning every team member has the opportunity to make a huge impact. They are one of the fastest-growing companies in the UK and their mission is to overtake their competitors who are 10x their size and ensure that design is embedded into their framework.

This is a great opportunity for a Lead Product Designer who wants to make a huge impact in a small team and help them to scale up. Your role will involve working closely with other product designers and leading from the front to ensure the design is constantly improving. You will have experience working on a design system, even though this does not need to be on a large scale, and you will help the team to evolve their current design system. You will be skilled in the entire end-to-end process and be comfortable in presenting and talking through your ideas.

Ideally, you will have solid Figma experience within a B2C or e-commerce role, although this isn’t necessary. You will have a strong understanding of conversion and optimization and with this, you will have the opportunity to work across all the product teams and drive the designers to make the right design approaches and be at the forefront with them on the bigger and more complex projects.

Here are some key requirements for the Senior Product Designer:

  • Experience working on products and product development, ideally not just conceptual
  • Proficient in using Figma or Sketch and the ability to deliver high fidelity designs
  • Extremely comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a genuine love for design and the small details
  • Enjoy solving complex problems
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders

This role is based in West London, and they are looking for a Senior Product Designer to come in a couple of days a week.

If you are an experienced Senior Product Designer looking to work within the e-commerce industry and have a clear career progression, then please feel free to get in touch and we can arrange a confidential chat about the role!
