The Client
Paddy Power and Betfair is one of the largest gambling brands in the world. Committed to innovation, the company were one of the first bookmaker brands to launch an iPhone app and their often tongue in cheek, refreshing approach to digital marketing has helped firmly position them as one of the worlds most loved gambling brands.
The Challenge
Following the merger, there was an exercise to bring together two User Experience and Technology teams. The client spotted an opportunity to bring in new skillsets to the team including dedicated UX Researchers and a UX Architect. Speed of delivery and quality of candidate were both equally important to this search. Given our previous success helping them identify UX professionals, we were called upon to assist as their preferred recruitment partner.
The Result
In order to meet the demands of the client, we promptly accessed our unique talent pool of User Experience and User Interface professionals to qualify only the highest skilled candidates appropriate for the role. As we understood the culture of the brand, we knew personality fit was of great importance. We presented the client with eight candidates of which three were offered and secured positions within the innovative UX team at Paddy Power.
