The Client
Headquartered in London, Perkbox operates across the globe, enhancing employee experiences through a number of tools and channels. We give teams a huge range of perks and benefits accessible any time via app or desktop.
The Challenge
Consortia were engaged to assist Perkbox in identifying and securing Perkbox’s first fully remote hires. Perkbox is building an engineering centre of excellence, they did not want the location to be a barrier to identify and secure the best engineers.
Perkbox had been looking to identify and secure React Native and React.js Engineers for three months to build their engineering capability. Working with their preferred agencies and direct sourcing, Perkbox felt they weren’t getting a high enough quality of candidates and asked for support to help them grow their team.
The Result
Consortia arranged an initial meeting with the Director of Engineering to understand the key requirements and consult on remote onboarding and interview processes. We helped shape the hiring process, salary level and set in place a service level agreement for an effective recruitment process.
For the React Native Developer position we submitted three candidates over ten days, two were taken to the first and final stage, we have one offer and accept.
For the React.js Developer position we submitted seven candidates over five days, five were taken to first stage interview, 4 were taken to the final stage, we have one offer and accept.
The total time of the recruitment process was three working weeks.
