Senior Cloud Engineer
Would you like to build the Azure Government foundations for a new federal SaaS platform, rather than inherit infrastructure that's already in place? You will join an established international software business bringing its document management platform to the US federal market. As Senior Cloud Engineer, you will help turn the approved architecture into secure, production-ready infrastructure, and establish how it will be operated over the long term. The program is in its design phase, with the main infrastructure build planned for late 2026 and authorization targeted for 2027. You’ll join as a founding Senior Cloud Engineer, working hands-on with a specialist advisory partner while shaping the technical decisions that will underpin the platform. What You'll Do As a Senior Cloud Engineer, build and secure the Azure Government environment from code, translating the reference architecture into dependable infrastructure. Own Terraform and automated deployment pipelines, making releases repeatable, reviewable and easier to operate. Deploy and support production AKS workloads, including Windows node pools and containerized .NET applications. Put security controls into practice across identity, networking, monitoring and cloud protection, supporting FedRAMP readiness without being expected to own the entire authorization process. Collaborate with product engineers on secure connectivity and customer-managed keys, and build automated ways to collect compliance evidence. Set the operational foundations for launch, including vulnerability management, patching, backup and recovery, incident response and on-call runbooks. What You'll Bring At least seven years in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering, including three or more years building and operating production Azure environments. Deep, hands-on Terraform experience: you’ve written, deployed and maintained infrastructure code yourself. Production Kubernetes experience, ideally with AKS, Windows node pools and .NET workloads. Practical knowledge of Azure security and connectivity tools such as Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Azure Policy, Entra ID, managed identities and Private Link. Experience implementing technical controls in FedRAMP or another regulated environment; prior Azure Government or FedRAMP experience is valuable, but not essential. The judgment to move between architecture and hands-on delivery, and the communication skills to work constructively with engineers, advisors and assessors. You must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident, work from within the United States and be able to support US business-hours or on-call coverage. No visa sponsorship is available. What's On Offer Salary details are available on application. Remote working within the United States, with Eastern Time preferred. Unlimited PTO, 10 paid holidays, and medical, dental and vision plans. 401(k) matching, life insurance, employer-paid short- and long-term disability, and flexible spending plans. The chance to establish a new government cloud platform with meaningful technical ownership from its foundations. If you’re a Senior Cloud Engineer ready to build and operate the infrastructure behind a new federal SaaS offering, this is an opportunity to make your mark from the start. Key Information Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer Location: United States Work Policy: Remote Salary: Details on application Benefits: Unlimited PTO, 10 paid holidays, 401(k) matching, medical, dental and vision plans, life insurance, disability cover, and flexible spending plans. Product Operations Director
You’re the person leadership calls when ambitious strategies need turning into visible, measurable change, and you want a seat where you own the outcome, not just the slide deck. As a Product Operations Director, you’ll partner directly with the Chief Product Officer of a global, private-equity-backed software business that has outgrown its original operating model. The company has evolved from a largely co-located European organisation into a distributed international Product & Engineering group of around 250-300 people, and this role exists to rebuild how it plans, executes and reports at scale. This isn’t Product Operations because it’s fashionable, it is a genuine organisational transformation mandate at the intersection of strategy, business operations and technology. You’ll combine structured thinking, data, execution and executive communication to create clarity for leadership, alignment across teams and visibility for a demanding CEO and board. What You'll Do You will design and continuously refine a scalable operating model for an international Product & Engineering organisation, balancing innovation-friendly autonomy with the structure required for growth, as Product Operations Director. You will translate technology and business strategy into clear priorities, measurable outcomes and practical operating rhythms, embedding accountability from roadmap through to delivery. You will own the data and reporting layer for Product & Engineering, building dashboards, KPIs and management information that give the CPO, CEO and board real-time visibility and turning complex operational detail into compelling executive narratives. You will personally lead organisational change initiatives end to end, diagnosing issues, shaping solutions, aligning stakeholders across Europe, India and the US, and staying close to implementation until results are proven. You will strengthen cross-functional collaboration, simplifying how distributed teams make decisions, plan capacity and coordinate on critical initiatives. You will champion an AI-first approach to Product Operations, experimenting with automation, intelligent workflows and emerging tools to reduce overhead, improve decision-making and increase organisational effectiveness. You will act as a strategic operational partner and critical friend to technology leadership, offering insight, challenge and support on performance, risk and investment decisions. What You'll Bring You have a strong foundation in business strategy, management consulting, Strategy & Operations or organisational transformation, combined with hands-on delivery inside a scaling tech or SaaS business, and experience relevant to the Product Operations Director role. You have proven experience designing and implementing operating models, metrics and rhythms that have materially improved execution, accountability and organisational performance. You have executive-level communication skills and presence, with evidence of working directly with a CPO/CTO, CEO and board, and of turning complex data into clear, actionable stories. You have a track record of leading change across international, geographically distributed teams, ideally including close collaboration with Product and Engineering functions. You have strong analytical and operational discipline, including building or owning dashboards, KPIs, executive reporting and performance visibility for senior leadership. You have practical AI literacy and curiosity, using AI and automation to streamline workflows, enhance insight and drive better decisions, coupled with a proactive, commercially minded and detail-attentive approach. What's On Offer Base salary £130,000 – £140,000 plus performance-related bonus, with flexibility for exceptional experience. Fully remote working from the UK, collaborating with Product & Engineering teams across Europe, India and the United States. 25 days’ annual leave, 5% employer pension contribution, private medical cover, life assurance and group income protection. Direct partnership with an experienced technology leadership team, regular interaction with the CEO and meaningful exposure to the board. The opportunity to reshape how a global software organisation operates during an ambitious growth phase, with real authority to introduce new approaches and make change stick. A technology environment investing heavily in AI, with the freedom to challenge existing processes, explore new tools and build more intelligent ways of working. As a Lead Product Manager, you’ll sit at the heart of a founder-owned, market-leading technology business that provides audio-visual, streaming and digital products to the funerals and ceremonies sector. Their products span venue AV infrastructure, media management and streaming platforms, tribute and content services, digital memorial experiences and immersive next-generation venues. This newly created role makes you the connective tissue between the Product Director’s strategy and a growing team of Product Managers. You’ll own the portfolio roadmap for the digital and software side of the business, raise the overall standard of product practice, and build a high-performing team in a company moving from adolescence to a more mature, product-led future. Partner closely with Technology, Engineering, Data, Delivery, Marketing and Customer teams so initiatives are well defined, technically sound, operationally workable and clearly launched to the market. Drive portfolio governance across propositions, pricing input, lifecycle and investment decisions, and deputise for the Product Director in senior forums when needed. Shape and embed pragmatic product management frameworks, processes and governance that elevate product maturity in a non-corporate, founder-led environment without adding unnecessary bureaucracy. What You'll Bring You have proven experience as a Lead Product Manager or similar, leading Product Managers or senior product professionals in a multi-product setting. You have a strong track record of turning strategy into a deliverable roadmap that cross-functional teams can plan, execute and iterate against. You are confident owning portfolio-level prioritisation and making trade-offs across multiple products, stakeholders and competing demands. You have strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative style when partnering with Technology, Data, Delivery, Marketing and Customer teams. You are familiar with modern product practices and tools, for example agile delivery, Jira and Confluence, squad-based models, accessibility or government-style design principles, and you lead through coaching.
